Subject:I would give up my kids...
Time: 7:03 pm.
Mood: contemplative.

OK... I wouldn't give them up since actually what I want is to have easy and accessible babysitting. If I gave them up for that, I would not need the babysitting! But it sure would be nice to be able to go to a movie on a whim and not have to plan for it weeks in advance. We're going to try and see Hellboy 2 either Thursday or Friday. Batman Returns maybe August 1st during parent's night out. The third movie we would like to see is Wanted, but I am not sure how we can pull that off and it will be out of the theaters soon.

Subject:OK... I am getting a little hyper...
Time: 11:26 pm.
Mood: bouncy.
Music:Shnarph! - [:lout:] LOS!.

Right now I am currently adding new tunes to my iTunes. I was a poet and didn't even know it! It is all Terror EBM right now and it is giving me the itch to go up to Das Bunker and see Unter Null and C/A/T on the 18th of July. I think I am going to make this happen. Actually a friend of mine and a Corvus Brother just contacted me and mentioned he always wanted to check out Das Bunker. Since I am always wanting to promote clubs that I believe stand out, I think I need to bring him up there. OK... he will be driving and I will be navigating. Either way... I've been in a very rivetheadish mood and need to get my harshness on. Plus I have an extreme soft spot for women who perform in the harsher side of Electronics. There... That was quite PC if I may say so myself!

Is anyone going up to Das Bunker on the 18th of July to see Unter Null and C/A/T? If you are, would you be willing to take a crusty old DJ? Last couple of times I went to Das Bunker by myself and it would be nice to go up with some peeps. Know what I mean?

Subject:Where can I get custom made CD racks?
Time: 3:34 am.
Mood: sleepy.
Music:Reaper - The Devil Is Female.

Another thing I need to organize my office are custom made CD racks. Right now I have piles of CDs on the floor, CD racks, computer desks, and CD cases. I also have CDs in cases besides the ones I use for deejaying. Right now I have a CD rack from an old Tower Records store which holds around 1200 and a smaller CD rack. I need to organize this mess and quick.

Now I have an idea on the kind of CD racks I want. If you've ever been to Joe Forester's house or if I remember correctly, also Demian Dorrance's house, I believe they both had the same setup to organize all their media. Basically think of someone's personal study or library that have book shelves. I am looking for "book" shelves that will accommodate CDs, DVDs, and maybe even vinyl. OK... I would like it to accommodate vinyl also since I need to put them somewhere. I would like adjustable shelves to accommodate the different formats of media. The most important thing is the height I would like the racks. I would like them to be 7' or 8' tall. This is so I can utilize space the best way I can and that is going up the wall like a city using skyscrapers to utilize real estate. Regular CD cases that are large are usually only 5' and you have around 3' - 4' of wasted wall space. Basicallyy I would like to have something that goes up to the ceiling.

The other thing that I would like is a ladder integrated with the shelves. Something like you see with old libraries. I don't want a brass medal rail that the ladder is attached to as in old school libraries, but maybe one of the shelving joints protrudes so the ladder can be attached for safety reason. A ladder is pretty important because if the racks are high and I need something to reach the top shelves, a step stool would be clumsy and would not get close enough to the rack. The last thing is I would like is it to be modular, so if we ever move into a bigger place, I could have more made and connect them together.

Thanks in advance for reading this two post and leads or suggestions is greatly appreciative.

Subject:Where can I get a custom made computer desk?
Time: 2:37 am.
Mood: tired.
Music:Northborne - Force It.

I am looking for some suggestions and leads on where I can get a custom made computer desk to accommodate the home office. I remote to my work desktop from home and need to have a laptop docking station, so I can have an external monitor, keyboard, and place that I can work comfortable and without distractions. Right now I have to remote to work from my laptop on the kitchen table. Needless to say it is not very comfortable sitting on barstool size chair and also there are many distractions. I would work in the office, but there is nowhere to put my laptop on. Plus if I could have my docking station somewhere at home, I would be able to have a full size monitor, which is important when you code and have tons of windows open in your OS. Right now I am going from two monitors at work to a screen the size of a ThinkPad laptop.

I am looking to have a L shape computer desk made. Ikea has a computer desk line where you can put together different computer desk setups. If you have ever been to Workman's house and his office, you would see the line I am talking about. The only problem is the size of my office. If it was 2 feet longer I would be able to design a horseshoe shape computer desk like Workman's. But with the Ikea line I can't build an L shape for the size of my office. The office is too small to create the horseshoe shape desk and the parts to create the L shape, I would loose two valuable feet. So basically I want to find someone or some company that I can get a custom made desk built. I am looking for a desk with area space by using legs with a few shelves and cabinets. But I really need top area space since I will have multiple computers, monitors, peripherals and a laptop dock. Right now I have seen ads from places like ClosetWorld that I might be able to call, but the pictures I see usually are all wooden desk that are bulky. I am looking for something that is has more area top and not so many shelves, etc.

So if you have any leads or suggestions, please post your replies. I am also looking for some other custom made office furniture that I will explain in my next post.

Time: 11:43 pm.
Mood: content.
Music:Supreme Court - Hypocrites + Saints.

This is just a friendly reminder that I will be guest deejaying in the Power Noise room at Das Bunker next Friday! Hopefully I will see some of you there since I've been pretty busy lately with work and all. Also if anyone would like to carpool or if I might be so bold as to ask for a ride, please contact me. The only stipulation is that I have to be at Das Bunker at 9:30PM, but that is only a half hour early.

Again that is Das Bunker next Friday the 25th of April. It should be a lot of fun! If you know what I mean. ;)

Subject:And the addiction starts now...
Time: 8:00 am.
Mood: high.
Music:Shnarph! - Atmen.

First it is was one drop per eye when I awoke from sleep. How I loved the burning sensation and the alertness I felt afterward. I looked forward everyday to wake up and get my fix. Yesterday I noticed that after I had my fix and took a shower, the feeling was gone. My eyes felt empty and dry. Today I performed my daily ritual like a good follower and quickly put a drop in each eye. But before I could jump into the shower that empty dry feeling crept up again. And so it begins. I picked the bottle up and put another drop or two in my eyes. Oh... How I loath you Sante FX Neo for the chains you have wielded and the bond I cannot break. How I love you and can't wait for your next tantalizing experience again. And damn you Ivonne for bringing this addiction into my life!

Subject:Music Non Stop has now officially stopped trading!!!
Time: 1:53 am.
Mood: sad.

I just received an email from Music Non Stop that they have officially stopped trading. I just can't believe it... I am extremely shocked and saddened from the news. MNS has been one of my favorite places to order music online. I was always able to get limited releases on everything I ordered. Their newsletters were outstanding because they always tried to break new and unknown bands into the scene. And the customer service was number one to say the least.

I actually just emailed Phil from MNS thanking him for all the great years of customer service. He always gave 100% in customer service when ordering and during email conversations. This is an extremely sad day for the scene. I wish the best in whatever the future brings to the crew of MNS.

Subject:My mom finally gets to see pictures of Killian!
Time: 12:43 pm.
Mood: accomplished.

OK... I know I am a slacker son. My mom has yet to see pictures of Killian. She did not even see the birth announcement because we only sent it out digitally. But I finally made up for it this weekend! I finished picking out the final pictures of our family. I went back to Thanksgiving of 2006. I picked out a total of 80 pictures, which I did touch ups to color/contrast levels and red eye to every picture. I printed them out on photo paper; four pictures in each for a total of 20 pages. I asked my mom if she would mind cutting them out since it would be easier to mail 20 8.5" x 11" sheets than 80 individual pictures. She said no problem... cool! It took a total of one gray scale ink cartridge to print then all and I mean the last sheet depleted it.

I also added the original birth announcement, a Christmas card and our holiday newsletter, which we also finished yesterday. Which the holiday newsletter consisted of more picture manipulation.

Now we just have to go to the post office today, which is the busiest day of the year. They expect double their normal volume today. But I have to send this off and we need to pick up stamps for the holiday newsletter. Should be fun after work!

Subject:Restless and Unmotivated as Hell
Time: 3:00 pm.
Mood: restless.
Music:W.A.S.T.E. - This Is What We Seek.

I've been extremely restless and unmotivated at work. Seems like things never change. Sure I have minor tasks to complete, but they all seem mundane. There's so much refractoring and unfucking to do with our framework and code, but most people's mentality is who cares if it's the correct way... As long as it works now. Although it might not a few months later. Or I get the scared little programmers remarks like, "I would be afraid to touch that [...]" Now there's a sign of a great programmer... Make him Staff... Oh wait... They already are Staff. Ugh...

Subject:Just felt like writing a little post to see who is out there.
Time: 10:51 am.
Mood: bouncy.
Music:C/A/T - Point of No Return.

So here is a little post. I am a little bored at work since I am way ahead of my project/task. I'm just going through some CDs and picking songs that I would DJ. Speaking about CDs, I cannot stop putting C/A/T's Point of No Return in a CD player or playing it in my iPod. You people need to check it out. Just the perfect blend of phat crunchy beats, noise, energy, aggression, techno style keyboards, hi hats, samples etc. It is just a great fucking album. There are so many club tracks on the CD that I would have a hard time picking out one or two tracks to play. Ummmm... I wonder if they will be played at clubs now.

Music:Datascraper - Designed to Die.

So TK messaged me asking if I was going to Ascension tonight because Datascraper is playing. I have Datascraper on my friends list in MySpace and always thought he kicked out some cool sounds. I guess he finally released a CD and the release party is at Ascension.

At first I wasn't in the mood during the week to go to a club. But right now I have the urge to go. My only problem is that I am tired of going to clubs by myself. Too bad I do not have anyone to go with. The downfall of living in Poway.

Subject:All this crazy fire talk is making me sleepy.
Time: 12:10 am.
Mood: exhausted.

Although San Diego is showing all of Poway under a mandatory evacuation, the City of Poway has not evacuated all of Poway. The City of Poway still has it around two miles north of us. The actually fires were six miles Northeast of our house. Nothing has changed and the winds have actually died down. I'm going to get some shuteye and hope the Reverse 911 doesn't wake me up in the middle of the night.

Thanks to everyone who has offered us a place to stay if we get evacuated by the City of Poway. There's always tomorrow when the winds are supposed to pick up again! ;)

Good Night and Good Luck.
